Our partners at the Venezuelan American Caucus and PEN America will co-present a panel and community discussion on the power of civic engagement when it works in tandem with local journalism and in-language community media, to build community resilience to disinformation. This panel will feature community leaders, activists, and local journalists in conversation about how positive messaging and psychology can help stop targeted disinformation, especially as we approach the midterm elections.
The first half of the event will feature a moderated discussion with the panelists below, followed by an audience Q&A during the second half. Light breakfast will be provided before the event begins.
